Chinese Herbal Medicine
One of the therapeutic pillars in Traditional Chinese Medicine is the use of herbal medicine which dates back thousands of years. It is a powerful form of medicine that can be effective in treating a full range of conditions including but not limited to: headaches, allergies, insomnia, gynecological issues, digestive and urinary disorders, respiratory issues, sinusitus, anxiety/depression, fatigue, and brain fog, to name a few. It is a powerful, yet gentle alternative or adjunct to pharmaceutical medications.
Chinese herbs are mainly plant-based and may include leaves, roots, bark, seeds, flowers, and occasionally minerals and animal products. They can be taken as a pill, powder or tincture, or the raw dried herbs can be steeped into a tea. Herbal medicine can also be applied externally for injuries and skin disorders. We also make our own tinctures, glycerites, and liniments.
